WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE THIS COURSE?
The hazards faced by lone workers can be made significantly more high risk, if effective training has not been provided. Whether it’s dealing with aggressive members of the public or contractors, lone working places any employee at a greater degree of risk than those working in teams. It is essential that any employer have in place the right procedures to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all staff whilst at work.

The lone working course is designed for all employees who may work on their own as part of their employment.
COURSE AND TIMINGS
This course takes approximately 30-40 minutes in total to complete.
By the end of this course, you will have learnt:
- Explanation and understanding of what lone working is
- Provide an awareness of the law regarding lone working
- Inform you on how to deal with aggression and conflict management
- An overview of how to reduce the risks when working alone.
