WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE THIS COURSE?

No one should ever have to experience poor mental health.  There’s a shocking statistic that one in four adults in the UK experience poor mental health each year.

Awareness of our mental health and that of others is important to all. There are many types of mental illness, with a range of symptoms that can vary from minor to severe and everything in between.

In this course, you will uncover the main types of mental illness, how to support people who have symptoms of mental illness, and how to take care of your own mental wellbeing.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE?

The course will help employers and managers to recognise poor mental health within the workplace, and suitable methods in how to approach it. Therefore, it is suitable for all employees across all sectors.

COURSE AND TIMINGS

This course takes approximately 50-60 minutes in total to complete.

  • The stigma of mental illness
  • How to support people with mental health problems
  • Specific problems and illnesses and what you can do to help
  • What to do in an emergency
